We know that Jude affect has a major role in Captain Marvel, but that's virtually every we know for sure. For a long era it has been believed that affect would affect the Marvel Comics environment known as Mar-Vell, but he and Marvel have both avoided confirming such things, leading many to wonder if we were actually incorrect virtually Law's character. Now, a see at a extraction of upcoming Captain Marvel toys may have revealed that affect isn't playing Mar-Vell after all, but is, instead, playing the environment of Yon-Rogg.

The impression comes via the advertisement of a extraction of Captain Marvel Funko Pop figures. even if the stylized characters never actually see much similar to their film counterparts, there is one figure that is wearing an action that is similar, if not identical, to the one that we see Jude affect wearing in the advertisement for Captain Marvel. The figure's bin is labeled as Yon-Rogg.

The image from Reddit (via audacious Hollywood) handily doesn't affix a Mar-Vell environment at all, which would very guide one to say you will that affect isn't playing that character, as it seems unlikely that Law's environment won't be getting his own toys. Based upon the to hand information, it looks similar to Yon-Rogg might be the best to hand option.

Merchandising has been the source of many a movie spoiler higher than the years. In order for the affect figures and additional stuff to be to hand similar to the movie comes out production has to begin months beforehand. This means toy makers often acquire information virtually movies the settle of us don't have. We often acquire our first looks at rotate costumes or characters that are visceral kept unsigned because of toys visceral made.

Of course, that doesn't wish that this leak means for determined that Yon-Rogg is visceral played by Jude Law. At most, it confirms that Yon-Rogg is in the movie, which is something that we didn't know before. Nobody else is endorsed similar to that role at this point. It does make a mighty combat for this visceral Jude law's role, but the evidence is technically circumstantial at this point.

The most interesting event virtually this revelation, if true, is that Yon-Rogg is traditionally a Captain Marvel villain in the comics, rather than her mentor which he does seem to handily be in the trailers.

This could very without difficulty be the explanation why Jude Law's environment has been kept unsigned every this time. If he is, in fact, playing Yon-Rogg, and we were told that, then comics fans would know the character's history and it might impression more virtually the upcoming film than Marvel wants. If Jude affect is going to make a heel point and become a bad boy at some reduction in the movie, that's handily something that is likely meant to be a surprise.

It's vague how that would fit similar to the current story, which has plenty villains of its own, but there could very without difficulty be a lot more going upon similar to this plan than we've been told.

We'll likely have to wait until the adjacent gain access to in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain Marvel hits theaters to the lead adjacent year.
