Around this era last year, it was looking taking into consideration Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 could be one of the the first Marvel Cinematic Universe movies to be released during Phase 4, but now that James Gunn has been enthusiastic from Marvel, its uncertain taking into consideration that threequel will arrive. However, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has clarified to CinemaBlend that Gunns shape will yet be felt in the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 script, though not necessarily throughout new areas of Phase 4. In Feiges words:

His shape was Guardians. It was Guardians. It was his input on Guardians and the Avengers films, as you've seen in Infinity War, and on the Guardians 3 script, which were yet using. as a result you'll look that influence. I think online, sort of the notion of architect across combination cosmic things was slightly blown out of proportion.

The latter half of Kevin Feiges comment to our own Eric Eisenberg refers to help in 2017, taking into consideration James Gunn declared that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 would help instigation a new era of cosmic MCU stories, and that he would help Feige and the new creative minds full of zip taking into consideration these stories and ensure that the cosmic side of the MCU is as special and genuine and magical as what we have created as a result far. Obviously thats no longer going to happen, but Feige has now made certain that people know that the plot wasnt for Gunn to be the master architect of every things MCU cosmic, including the The Eternals and, assuming the first movie does well, a Captain Marvel sequel.

In terms of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 script, though, Kevin Feige declared that James Gunns draft will yet be used, which Star-Lord actor Chris Pratt said earlier this month. Needless to tell that although several Guardians of the Galaxy teams already existed in the comics, Gunns voice was enormously felt in the first two Guardians of the Galaxy movies, and was undoubtedly share of the excuse these characters became as a result popular to the general public. Thats furthermore why he contributed to Avengers: Infinity clash and Avengers: Endgame, before the Guardians finally got to interact taking into consideration new Marvel heroes. as a result it sounds taking into consideration we dont need to make miserable approximately Gunns voice brute enormously wiped away from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. although I reach admiration how much of his script will be altered taking into consideration a new director is hired.

As for James Gunns future, though hes no longer full of zip in the MCU, he is lending his talents to a alternating comic stamp album franchise. It was declared earlier this month that in accessory to writing The Suicide Squad, he will furthermore concentrate on the DC lengthy Universe feature. Its been said that The Suicide Squad will be less of a concentrate on sequel and more of a relaunch for the anti-hero property, although theres word that Margot Robbie will be help as Harley Quinn. That movie comes out on August 6, 2021.
