Set visits present unique challenges. Filmmakers want to proclaim details to visiting journalists, but they along with want to protect secrets until they can be revealed on the huge screen -- where they belong. Marvel Studios set visits are uniquely challenging, as there's always appropriately many amazing things to discuss subsequently directors subsequently Peyton Reed, nevertheless there are elements of his movie that he nevertheless wants to guard. So, subsequently we went to Atlanta to visit the set of Marvel's upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp, we asked roughly Ghost, and learned... a little bit. Reed told us:
The huge mission [of the movie] is to find Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer). What that means, ultimately, for our characters on a personal level is one thing, and what it means for the larger world is another thing... and all the further things are really, you know, stumbling blocks on the path. There is a huge bad, that has a no question unique connection to our characters. And I know we've -- you know that the character, Ghost, is in the movie, and that we've adapted the tone from the comics in a exaggeration that we tone is essentially unique to our movie and no question much tied into this universe. appropriately she becomes a really, essentially crucial ration of the checking account in a exaggeration that I can't essentially proclaim yet. Thank you no question much.
Guarded. Revealing... nevertheless guarded. Yes, we have seen images of Ghost in the trailers, as played by Black Mirror and Game of Thrones co-star Hannah John-Kamen. But her comings and goings in the billboard have been no question limited. appropriately far, the most engaging aspects of her tone have been the design of her unique suit, and the idea that she has been gender-swapped from the tone in the comics, who was male. on that topic, John-Kamen spoke to CinemaBlend and elaborated:
Definitely, that's been amazing. ... You see at graphic novels, you can see at comic books [that were] written appropriately long ago. And they're subsequently 50-years outmoded or 40-years old. And it's kind to subsequently go, 'Do you know what? This is a open-minded world.' It's, again, discharge to be adept to understand that tone and go, 'Yeah, that can be played by a male or female and that's no question speak to thinking.' And that's been amazing to be adept to do.
Ghost isn't a household-name comic cd villain, subsequently The Joker, the Red Skull, Doctor Octopus or even Doctor Doom. Making his first proclaim in 1987, Ghost was an IT researcher who became a super-powered computer hacker. It's our belief that the MCU checking account of Ghost will have a personal connection to either Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) or checking account Foster, a further tone played by Laurence Fishburne. That's a guess, though, as details on the tone were kept below wraps though we were on the set.
We'll find out for certain subsequently Ant-Man and the Wasp reaches theaters on July 6. And it's the last Marvel Studios movie that we're getting in 2018, appropriately savor it, fans. Now head to the next-door page for a slew of frosty further images of Ghost in the further Marvel movie!
