While The unbelievable Spider-Man 2 was supposed to set up a larger world for Andrew Garfields Peter Parker, the movie underperforming resulted in Sony abandoning that continuity and striking up an alliance taking into account Marvel to feature a additional Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. in the course of the scrapped ideas as a outcome of this decision was that Felicity Jones Felicia Hardy could become The Black Cat, just taking into account in the comics. Nevertheless, Jones is yet fervent upon reprising Felicia within the MCU, saying:
Id love to be in her again. Shes a great character. There was never anything written all along that that would certainly happen. It was more justI taking into account playing characters where there is a little bit additional to be in taking into account and it was just fun to be in someone who has this additional identity. I just loved the idea of that character, I just think its truly fun.
Felicia Hardys potential viewpoint to the Black Cat sparkle certainly wasnt teased in The unbelievable Spider-Man 2, as her role in that movie was limited to living thing Harry Osborns assistant and complex telling Harry that shed overheard that the special spider venom was living thing kept in the Special Projects disaffection of OsCorp. This year marks half a decade back The unbelievable Spider-Man 2s release, and during that grow old Felicity Jones has become a more famous actress thanks to her performances in The Theory of Everything, Rogue One: A Star Wars report and upon the Basis of Sex. Still, she made it distinct to Yahoo Movies that if the opportunity came along, shed appreciate getting to reprise Felicia Hardy and actually showcase the characters duality.
Its not often that an actor gets to be in the thesame atmosphere in two different continuities of the thesame franchise (Judi Dench living thing M in the James devotion movies comes to mind), and as far and wide as the MCU goes, I suspect that if Felicia Hardy were to be included, Felicity Jones wouldnt be called to be in the role. Assuming she and Spider-Man were to have some nice of relationship, the Marvel executives would presumably want someone closer to Tom Hollands age, not to reference allowing more release taking into account putting a different spin upon Felicia.
However, Sony plus has its own, sever enliven be in Spider-Man universe going, albeit without the Wall-Crawler actually involved. Venom kicked off this additional franchise last October, and in supplement to the symbiote-powered anti-hero returning for a sequel, Morbius the active Vampire is plus slated for release. There were plus plans for Black Cat and Silver Sable to appear in a movie together, but it was announced last summer that these characters would instead lead their own sever movies. If Sony wants some star skill upon its side, perhaps it could chat taking into account Felicity Jones very nearly leading the Black Cat movie. Whether that movie were to establish that this Spider-Man universe exists in the thesame continuity as The unbelievable Spider-Man movies or not, at least this would be a good unplanned for Jones to properly case up as Black Cat and fight some bad guys.
