At this point, there's little question that Avengers: Infinity fighting will be the biggest Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to date. The film will bring all corners of the MCU together in one frightful event, and it looks considering we can expect to see elements of all Marvel movie scattered through the story. In fact, Kevin Feige and Joe Russo both addressed this height during the "Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years - The progression of Heroes" special feature segment upon Thor: Ragnarok's house freedom and laid out how all Marvel movie will feed into the Infinity fighting storyline. Russo explained:
Every tally that Marvel has told before Iron Man 1 finds a narrative thread in these next-door two Avengers movies. It is a height of all that storytelling.
So, it seems that all from Iron Man through Black Panther will have some degree of relevance to the next-door two Avengers movies. Even movies considering seemingly minimal links to the better Marvel universe (such as Ant-Man) will factor into how Avengers: Infinity fighting will measure out. while we yet technically have no idea what that will ultimately entail (or how big each narrative thread will eventually be), it seems to suggest that Infinity fighting may be one of Marvel's most dense and detail-oriented movies yet. You might desire to go urge on and refresh yourself upon all 18 movies before May 4 rolls around. (Good luck considering that.)
As thrill-seeking as Joe Russo makes it sound, Kevin Feige's tolerate upon the thing arguably seems even more thorough. Addressing the collective nature of the Infinity fighting arc, the Marvel Studios president with made it positive that Avengers: Infinity fighting will wrap things going on and push the MCU attend to in a "new direction." Per Feige:
With Infinity War, we are paying off all little thread, all little tease, that we've had in what will be 18 films prior to Infinity War. There's never been all considering this. bodily practiced to, film after film, tease at a larger story. in fact building these stories going on until a conclusion, while at the same time, introducing an unquestionably additional dealing out for the future.
That idea is fascinating to note because it looks considering Avengers: Infinity fighting will lay plenty of groundwork in addition to paying off the first three phases. while movies considering Iron Man, Captain America: Civil War, and additional MCU classics receive nods, the film will with shuffle the deck in ways that will permit the folks behind these Marvel movies to attempt additional things going into Phase 4.
You can check out the "Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years - The progression of Heroes" segment upon Thor: Ragnarok's house release, which is currently open upon Digital HD and will freedom upon Blu-ray and DVD upon March 6. Looking ahead, create positive to save an eye upon all of these tally threads considering Avengers: Infinity fighting premieres in theaters upon May 4.
