Its the end of an become old in the superhero movie genre, as after decades of the X-Men and astonishing Fours film rights bodily owned by 20th Century Fox, those properties are now below the Marvel Studios banner like Disneys acquisition of Fox. However, it was recently revealed that earlier this decade like Fox was years away from bodily owned by the Mouse House, it was like making a movie that saw the X-Men, astonishing Four, Deadpool and Daredevil crossing paths, and now scheme details for this frightful project have emerged.
Thor and X-Men: First Class co-writer Zack Stentz made fans familiar last week that hed written a movie that would have seen many of the then-Fox-owned Marvel heroes coming together that Paul Greengrass was bodily lined happening to direct. Per the unsigned sources who spoke like THR, Fox specifically put this project into pursuit in 2010, and it would have seen the X-Men and astonishing Four in an epic fight thesame to what the MCU heroes went through in Captain America: Civil War.
Apparently even if grating to apprehend Molecule Man, a longtime astonishing Four villain from the comics, Johnny Storm, assumed name The Human Torch, would have like supernova and blown a hole in Manhattan. A superhero registration engagement is later passed in the aftermath of the tragedy.
From there, just like in Captain America: Civil War, the heroes are split onto opposing fights, and one the main clashes would have been Wolverine vs. Mr. Fantastic. That fight would have ended like Reed Richards pinning Logan down, stretching his hands until they were one molecule wide and later using them like scissors to cut the clawed mutants arms off. Even even if Wolverines arms would build up urge on thanks to his healing factor, that is essentially brutal, especially for a hero like Mr. Fantastic.
This movie would end like the heroes would have made peace, but a post-credits scene, as theyre known to do, would tease an even better threat: a Skrull invasion. Theres no citation of how Deadpool or Daredevil would have fit into the story, in view of that Im guessing they would have been pubescent players at best.
As for why this X-Men vs. astonishing Four movie never moved forward, like the attainment of X-Men: First Class, Fox granted it was a better to keep the main X-Men film series going, and X-Men: Days of innovative like followed in 2014. This furthermore wasnt the only X-Men vs. astonishing Four movie idea in circulation at Fox, as Fox commissioned a sever treatment from comic collection writer Warren Ellis.
At the become old Fox was like having the X-Men and astonishing Four collide, The Avengers was yet two years away, and superheroes throwing the length of against each choice wouldnt be the warm event for choice four years after that like Captain America: Civil engagement and Batman v Superman: start of Justice. in view of that had Fox moved take up like this ambitious idea, it would been ahead of the curve.
Alas, that was a long become old ago, and even if the X-Men and astonishing Four could yet furious paths, because these properties are expected to be rebooted within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, its not as even if they can only furious exceeding like each other. Theyre now portion of a much larger world filled like characters like Spider-Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel and the Guardians of the Galaxy, and that opens the contact for crossovers akin to what the mutants and Marvels First intimates have been practicing in countless become old in the comics.
Stay tuned to CinemaBlend for every the latest updates with reference to the X-Men and astonishing Four. The main X-Men film series is concluding like Dark Phoenix, now playing in theaters.
