SPOILER WARNING: I can't imagine anyone's left that doesn't know the ending of Avengers: Infinity War, but still, I vibes compelled to throw taking place a spoiler scolding here. Don't right of entry this if you haven't seen Infinity War, m'kay?
There are a lot of questions left unanswered after the ending of Avengers: Infinity War, most of which has to complete as soon as the fate of the characters who were affected by Thanos' fatal snap. There's been a lot of debate virtually how Avengers 4 will handle several key characters disappearing into the wind, but not everyone met their demise by The Snap. Vision (Paul Bettany) had perhaps the most tragic death of the movie, as he convinced his love Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) to execute him and save the universe in the process, solitary for it to wish nothing as Thanos comprehensibly reversed time and killed Vision himself. It's a bummer of a pretentiousness to go, but there is a alleyway that Marvel can (and should) nevertheless say you will as soon as the Vision.
I think that they can bring the Vision support to life, but not as audience members know him. He'll be an no question supplementary explanation of himself, as soon as a supplementary personality, and a supplementary actor playing him. And we every might just have Shuri to thank for it.
An entire subplot of Infinity accomplishment involves the Avengers bothersome to protect Vision and the Mind rock giving him life. However, Vision is the most technologically complicated innate upon Earth, and removing the rock from his head would most likely be fatal. However, Bruce Banner makes a reduction of axiom that Vision's mind is made taking place of several parts and that even without the Mind Stone, there's "still a collection lot of Vision left." solitary Shuri (Letitia Wright) and the resources of Wakanda can hope to separate Vision from the rock without killing him.
So, Shuri goes virtually removing the Mind rock even if the Avengers, Black Panther, and the armies of Wakanda fight the forces of Thanos. Inevitably, Shuri is interrupted by Corvus Glaive of the Black Order, and just before Corvus knocks her away, Shuri makes some quick, perfect adjustments to the Vision. The popular theory is that Shuri, innate the smartest person in the world, was able to complete something to Vision's programming, whether that means promotion it taking place or even laying a trap in the Mind Stone.
For the purposes of this article, I'm at an angle to think that Shuri was able to salvage some ration of Vision's programming. His body was left (mostly) intact at the stop of the movie. The movie planted the idea that the Vision can exist without the Mind Stone. every of this is key to resurrecting him, but it won't be as the Paul Bettany-version we've arrive to know and love. It'll be as a supplementary explanation of the vibes based upon the Vision from the teenager Avengers.
A tiny "comic sticker album history" time: At some reduction in the comics, Vision is killed, and every that remains of him is his broken body and his full of zip system. A time-traveling teenager named Nathanial Richards travels to the gift from the vague higher looking for the Avengers for help. Nathaniel is destined to build up taking place to become Kang the Conqueror, a time-traveling villain and longtime foe of the Avengers. However, the team was disbanded at this reduction and every Nathan could find were the remains of Vision. So, he implanted Vision's full of zip system into his high-tech armor and recruited a bunch of teenagers to support instead.
Long explanation short, his armor eventually gains its own sentience due to Vision's full of zip system and becomes an no question supplementary explanation of the character, one without the experience or later life of the original. This Vision goes upon to say you will the herald Jonas, joins the teenager Avengers, dates Ant-Man's daughter, comes to terms as soon as his existence, and is eventually killed by Nathaniel. Comics.
Marvel Studios has rarely ever adapted from the source material beat for beat, hence any explanation of this upon the huge screen would likely be incredibly different, but the basic idea is the same: they can bring the Vision support to energy even if nevertheless having technically killed the one people are attached to forever. They get a supplementary vibes for the franchise even if avoiding criticism of death not having meaning. That's called having your cake and eating it too.
There are already rumors that the teenager Avengers are innate set taking place in Avengers 4. Two twin characters -- which would likely be Wiccan and readiness -- are rumored to be involved, in addition to a teenager explanation of Scott Lang's daughter, Cassie. (She's a hero called Stature in the comics.) If any of this does perspective out to be true, it would create sense to supplement a supplementary explanation of Vision as well. The teenager Avengers, for what it's worth, would create a good addition to the MCU.
The downside of feint this would be that this younger Vision would likely have a lot of the similar problems as the original. They both are two strange robot men bothersome to figure out what the hell they are and where they fit in. However, teenager Vision could refer that from a alternative perspective than the first thanks to his unique personality. Plus, he has slightly alternative powers than native Vision due to his high-tech armor body.
Marvel could regard as being to just leave the Vision alone and allow the vibes rest, but the pieces are upon the board for a resurrection. If I really had to say you will my pick, I would want Vision and Wanda to get their happy ending, but there's always been a smack of a tragedy at the middle of Vision thanks to that Infinity rock in his head and the periwinkle madman we every knew was coming for him. At least as soon as teenager Vision, the energy of the vibes could nevertheless flesh and blood upon and get a second inadvertent to flesh and blood as soon as the humans he was privileged to be among.
